About Us

Our name is the Aboriginal word for goanna. Back in 1865 - just as the river boat trade was booming - land was set aside for the township of Jaengenya. It never eventuated, but the goannas are still in residence and our temperate climate and rich soils now produce fine wines for your enjoyment.

We are growers who care about the environment,using organic fertilizers and mulches such as fish products, kelp and straw.
